Stephanie Shreffler
FOUNDER
Stephanie Shreffler founded Be Square with the goal of making financial record-keeping and IRS compliance easy for business owners. As a parent, she wanted Be Square to provide a supportive and flexible work environment for other parents.
She enjoys chocolate, hiking, and her family. Sometimes, all at the same time.
Cathy Rhodes DeWitt
Senior Managing Bookkeeper
Cathy is the managing bookkeeper and new client consultant for Be Square, and a QuickBooks Online Certified ProAdvisor. She has been with the firm since 2012.
Cathy is also a writer/producer, enjoys music and movies, sci-fi and fantasy novels, yoga, and dinners with family & friends. She’s currently writing a young adult sci-fi/fantasy novel series, set 200 years in the future on a moon of Jupiter.
Renae Gilford
Payroll Manager
Renae is the manager of all things payroll for Be Square, as well as one of our senior bookkeepers. She has been onboard since 2012.
She also loves chocolate, reading, puzzles, crochet and music. She enjoys leading the worship team at her church, and helping out in other departments.
Noni Sridhara-Natarajan
Administrative Manager
Noni has been with Be Square Bookkeeping since 2010, and working with Stephanie since 2007.
Noni loves to read, travel, and spend time with her husband, two kiddos, and dog in her spare time.
David DeWitt
Bookkeeper
David DeWitt has been working as a bookkeeper with Be Square since 2015.
When David is not crunching numbers, he’s making films, running & biking (on and off road) regularly, playing guitar & bass, and trying his hand at cooking.
Yanet Galicia
Bookkeeper/Payroll Administrator
Yanet has been a bookkeeper with Be Square since 2015. Before joining the team, she worked in the medical billing field for 17 years. When she had the opportunity to continue to work with numbers from the comfort of her home, she made the switch.
Yanet is very family oriented and loves a nice cup of coffee. The bigger the cup, the better!
Dominique (Nikki) Gilford
Bookkeeper
Nikki is a bookkeeper with Be Square, as well as a wife and mom. She has been onboard since 2016.
Aside from crazy hair game, Nikki enjoys playing Animal Crossing, writing, working in her garden, and drinking the finest teas that Walmart has to offer.
Eric DeWitt
Bookkeeper
Eric DeWitt is a bookkeeper with
Be Square, as well as an artist. He has been working with the firm since 2016.
In addition to bookkeeping, he publishes an ongoing webcomic. He enjoys reading, gaming, and trying new foods in his free time.
Chris Pearcey
Bookkeeper
Chris started with Be Square in 2019. She has an extensive background in not-for-profit management, marketing, and events.
Chris loves the flexibility to manage multiple projects such as editing, dog training, and traveling to NTX to visit her nieces. She enjoys hiking, reading up on animal behavior, dreaming of vacations with dolphins, and NOT having to wear a suit to work.
Randy Magee
Bookkeeper
Randy grew up in the West Texas town of Balmorhea. He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin and has lived in New York, San Francisco and Cape Cod. He comes to Be Square with a background in the Healthcare and Hospitality industries.
He enjoys mornings on the hike and bike trails of Austin, tennis, community gardening and all things chocolate.
Cara DeWitt
Administrative Assistant
Cara is an administrative assistant with Be Square, and has been working here since 2020.
When not working on one of Be Square’s special projects, Cara looks for opportunities to work on environmental policy. She enjoys reading sci-fi and fantasy novels in her free time.
Rosemarie Brauning
Accounting Assistant
Rose is an energetic wife, mama of two, accounting assistant with 2+ years of global experience in financial administration, and travel/expense management.
Rose loves parties with group outfit themes, creating/eating delicious food, and wearing sparkly blinged-anything. Time with her family and friends brings her the most joy.
Jacqueline McGowan
Jackie has been with Be Square since 2021. She works in the payroll office, helping to set the records straight.
In her off-time, Jackie enjoys a good book, spending time with family, and working in her yard. She is a volunteer at her church, and loves to help out her community in whatever way she can.
